A fun and unusual Chinese lariat necklace of elaborately knotted silk and carnelian "coins". A long cord of rust-red silk is worked into scholar's knots and tied around discs of carnelian carved to resemble old Chinese coins. This long necklace is worn wrapped around the neck and looped around itself, like a lariat, with a little imagination it could be worn in many different ways. Circa 1920.

Details.....The necklace is 36" long and the coins are 0.92" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on antique and vintage jewelry; we consider it part of the charm.
